Jon Swinson grew up on a small farm in Augusta County. He loves to spend as much time with his wife Jenny and his 4 children as possible- they enjoy camping, hiking, campfires, going to the gym, hunting (especially squirrel hunting), and doing just about anything they can outdoors.
He is an active member of the community through church and other civic organizations; he has been an Ambassador of the Lexington/Rockbridge Chamber of Commerce and continues to enjoy working to improve commerce in Rockbridge County. He is a member and licensed radio operator of the Rockbridge Amateur Radio Club. Jon was a member of the Buena Vista Lions Club prior to its closing, has been a licensed therapeutic foster parent and has spent more than 25 years in various positions with the Boy Scouts of America.
He previously worked in healthcare, marketing and sales positions including as a life/health insurance agent working only with life and health insurance products before joining ProSure Insurance in 2012 (which is now Valley Trust).
He’s a Property and Casualty as well as Life , Health and Annuity Licensed agent and is based out of our Lexington office. Jon works diligently to find and fill gaps in current coverage while protecting home, families, and business or farm with the best coverage available.
Jon is also a very knowledgeable life and health agent who works to provide coverage for individuals, families, key players in the business, as well as group life insurance to employees of companies.
